ODOT Program Requirements
 - To register for class, the student is required to have a valid instruction permit.
 - Student must have a minimum of 10 hours of driving practice before first Driving Lesson
 - Students are required to complete all coursework with an 80% or better
 - Class is for students aged 15-17- any student older than 17 will pay an additional $210, provided there availability
 - Any student ages 15-17 who is on lunch assistance may be eligible to receive a $75 discount
 - Attendance is mandatory at all class sessions/missed classes must be made up
 - Behind the wheel (BTW) lessons are scheduled at the parent meeting
 - First BTW lesson must be between the 4th and 10th hour of class learning
 - All lessons must be at least 7 days apart, typically they are much farther apart
 - Student will receive the equivalent of the Oregon DMV skills test as a part of the program, which must be passed with an 80%
 - Student will attend 30 hours of class time
 - Student will attend 6 hours BTW lessons
 - Student will attend 6 hours observation of another student driving
 - Student will complete 5 hours of home guided BTW practice
 - Entire course must be completed within 180 days from first day of class
 - Must not turn 18 or obtain license while attending ODOT class – additional $210 will be charged
 - When a student passes, information is entered into the DMV website within 5 days of student’s completion, an email is set to parents
 - Information entered into the DMV website is valid for 2 years
 - A Certificate of completion is emailed to parents for insurance, should they give a discount for Driver Education
 - All ODOT classes are $600.00
